Ultimate Sound Bank X-Treme FX Sound Effects
Ultimate Sound Bank has announced that “X-Treme FX,” a fast, flexible and totally new sound-design tool, is now shipping. A virtual instrument that allows users to easily create and trigger complex sound effects, Foleys and atmospheric sounds, X-Treme FX was engineered from the ground up as the perfect tool to create effects for video, CD-ROM, games, music and broadcast programs. X-Treme FX will be distributed in North America by ILIO Entertainments.
With a 3-Gigabyte library delivering thousands of creative, readily-accessible sound effects, X-Treme FX is faster and more affordable than traditional, CD-based soundbanks. Each sound file contained within the collection is divided into an intuitive category, such as Science Fiction, Drones & Sub, Natural Sounds, Urban Sounds, Foleys and Musical Effects. In addition, X-Treme FX includes a number of preset sound “scenes” which automatically load up an ensemble of related sounds, to use for live mixing or creating a virtual soundscape. Finally, X-Treme FX features the fastest loading times in its category, providing minimal access times for even the most complex scenes and allowing users to begin experimenting with sound designs within seconds.
X-Treme FX is powered by USB’s award-winning UVI Engine, also delivers uncompromising sound quality, thanks to the quality of the UVI-Engine, providing uncompromising sound quality throughout the plug-in. The library’s interface places all sound shaping controls in a single window for maximum ease of use, and offers premium quality sound-design tools that allow users twist and reshape each sound to fit their projects.
