Piano Keyboard Eighth Note 1/8 Sheet Music Exercise
This next exercise is al about reading eighth notes. When you try to play these sheet music exercises try to look ahead as much as you can. This piano keyboard exercise is not about speed yet or trying to play the right notes. Although you can use it for that if you want.
What you need to do is:
Learn to look ahead and decide which finger to use for the notes you are about to play.
An example: You have to play a high note, but the note after that is even higher. Normally you would play a high note with your little finger. But in this example you might want to play the first high note by moving your hand and play it with your thumb so you have your little finger ready for that even higher note.
