Native Instruments TRAKTOR DJ Player Free MP3, WAV, and CD Player for WindowsThe TRAKTOR DJ Player is a completely new audio player with functions that surpass those of any other free media player. TRAKTOR DJ Player can crossfade two tracks together with a DJ-style crossfader. Additionally, the TRAKTOR DJ Player can play back DJ mixes created with the professional TRAKTOR DJ Studio or Mixer.DJ-Mixfiles: The TRAKTOR DJ Player can import the quickly-spreading TRAKTOR DJ Mixfile format. Any mix or remix session created with either of the pro versions of the TRAKTOR software family can be played back with the free TRAKTOR player. Mixfiles for a selection of CDs and MP3s are already online from several record labels, such as SONY´s DREAM DANCE Compilation Vol. 20. Basic Functions: All CD or MP3 tracks can be conveniently organized into virtual track cases and arranged in a playlist via drag and drop within TRAKTOR DJ Player or from the Windows Desktop. In Automix Mode, TRAKTOR DJ Player can automatically mix tracks using selectable fade times and modes. It is also possible to manually control the crossfader to cut live between two tracks. As the tracks are playing, each track's waveform stream live through the dual graphical displays. When a mixfile is playing back, all moves made by the DJ such as looping, filtering, and crossfading are shown on the mix monitor LEDs. The combination of unique functions including the crossfader, waveform display and the mixfile playback make the TRAKTOR DJ Player an outstanding freeware. TRAKTOR mixfiles contain all the information needed to reproduce a full DJ set compacted into a size that is perfectly suited to share and distribute over the Internet. A complete DJ set can be reduced to a few hundred KB, and as long as the listeners share the same MP3, WAV, or audio tracks, these mixfiles can be easily exchanged.
