Digidesign to distribute Native Instruments Pro Tools edition Plug-Ins
Digidesign is pleased to begin distributing Native Instruments Studio Collection and SPEKTRAL DELAY Pro Tools Edition plug-ins on May 15, 2002. The result of an extensive cooperation between Native Instruments and Digidesign, the Studio Collection bundle — which includes the B4 organ, the BATTERY sampler and the Pro-52 virtual analog synthesizer — and the revolutionary SPEKTRAL DELAY plug-in add an arsenal of classic virtual instruments and sound design tools to the Pro Tools platform. The Studio Collection bundle and SPEKTRAL DELAY plug-ins support both RTAS and HTDM formats for seamless operation within Pro Tools TDM and LE environments. Some of the key benefits of these products include the following:
Seamless Integration with Pro Tools All of the NI Pro Tools Edition plug-ins boast full recall, multiple instantiation and support for OMS virtual nodes within Pro Tools. Pro-52, B4 and SPEKTRAL DELAY also feature support for Digidesign control surfaces and Pro Tools automation.
RTAS and HTDM Support Unlike the standalone versions of these Native Instruments products, each of the NI Pro Tools Edition products operate as RTAS and HTDM plug-ins — making their sonic possibilities as easily accessible as opening a plug-in. The plug-ins operate transparently within the Pro Tools environment, eliminating the need to juggle between two applications.
Plus, when its time to close the session, all parameters, signal routing, patch and automation information remains exactly as you've left it — even down to BATTERY automatically loading customized sample kit(s) upon relaunch of the Pro Tools session.
Innovative Virtual Instruments from the Industry Leader Native Instruments has emerged as one of the most innovative virtual instrument developers in the industry. With stellar sonic quality, beautiful, powerful and easy-to-use interfaces, and meticulous attention to detail, NI Pro Tools Edition plug-ins transform Pro Tools into one of the most powerful instruments in the studio.
MSRP for Native Instruments Studio Collection is $995 and SPEKTRAL DELAY is $445. The products will ship by May 15, 2002.
